This project tackles a problem faced by fossil fuel-rich states which aim to switch a certain percentage of their electricity generation fleet from being oil-based to renewables. Generally, these states (such as GCC states) aspire to increase their revenues by finding cost-effective renewable alternatives which could free-up a percentage of their oil and natural gas production from local consumption.
