This paper presents a methodology to evaluate the sustainable performance of an airport location. The approach integrates multiple criteria, including transport requirements, environmental impacts, accessibility, economic potential, social impacts, and regulatory acceptability. The methodology consists of three steps: (1) defining location scenarios and setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); (2) expert weighting of criteria, incorporating contextual sensitivity to allow for adjustments based on regional factors; and (3) quantifying location performance. This methodology emphasizes the importance of sustainability, ensuring that the chosen airport location provides both immediate and long-term benefits. The goal is to ensure that decisions are tailored to local needs within an international context while maintaining compliance with various factors to ensure long-term success and minimal adverse impacts.

أندريس زميل أول يتمتع بخبرة تزيد عن 22 عامًا في مجال النقل. تركز بحوثه على تخطيط الطلب على النقل، وأثر الاقتصاد الكلي على سياسات النقل، ونماذج المدخلات والمخرجات متعددة الأقاليم، والنماذج المتكاملة الهجينة للنقل، ونماذج الطلب والعرض لنظم الطاقة والنقل. وكان قبل انضمامه إلى كابسارك أستاذًا مشاركًا ومحاضرًا زائرًا في المدرسة الكولومبية للهندسة، وجامعة لوس أندس، وجامعة جافيريانا في كولومبيا. كما كان باحثًا في مركز بحوث النقل (TRANSyT) في الجامعة التقنية في مدريد في إسبانيا. وعمل في العديد من مشاريع النقل بصفته مستشارًا أولًا في النقل للشركات العامة والخاصة في مكتب تخطيط أمين منطقة بوغوتا، ومشروع خط مترو بوغوتا 1 مع شركة ميناء الصين الهندسية. وهو حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية من المدرسة الكولومبية للهندسة في كولومبيا. كما أنه حاصل على درجة الماجستير في أنظمة البنية التحتية المعقدة للنقل من كلية لشبونة في البرتغال بالتعاون مع معهد ماساتشوستس للتقنية، ودرجة الدكتوراه في نظم الهندسة المدنية والنقل من الجامعة التقنية في مدريد في إسبانيا.
