The Global Gas Security Review is the IEA’s annual flagship publication on gas supply security, which provides a quantitative assessment of contracting trends, supply flexibility, buyer and seller behavior, and the evolution of global LNG trade. This year’s review (for the first time) will be complemented with an update of the IEA’s global gas market outlook, which will incorporate the latest available data into our supply-demand forecast, with particular focus on the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on global gas markets in 2020 and 2021. Following the presentation of the IEA’s Global Gas Security Review, a panel of experts will focus on the following questions:

  • Has the global market been able to adapt to the Covid-19 crisis?
  • How has gas trade changed, and will this change stay?
