Ammar is an energy professional with a well-rounded experience in oil and gas, electricity, sustainability, and public policy. He leads cross-functional teams in planning and executing projects for multiple stakeholders in the Saudi energy sector. Prior to KAPSARC, Ammar was a drilling and workover engineer at Saudi Aramco, and a consultant at Elixir Management Consultancy, a subsidiary of McKinsey & Company. He holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from KFUPM and an M.S. in Energy Economics from Rice University, and is a member of several professional organizations.
