KAPSARC is proud to host the third Users’ Group Meeting for the KAPSARC Toolkit for Behavioral Analysis (KTAB).  KTAB is a software platform that simulates collective decision making processes (CDMPs).

The aim of the meeting, which will take place over a day and a half at the Marriott at Metro Center hotel in Washington DC, is to merge the discussion of how to model practical questions using KTAB with the logic of how a CDMP simulation works, as well as sharing new KTAB features and improvements with participants.

KTAB, which has been developed to work on both Windows and Linux operating systems, can be applied to a wide range of topics, e.g., countries’ compliance with United States’ Iran oil sanctions, air quality reform policy in China or Dutch climate policy.

The April Users’ Group Meeting will bring together both new and experienced KTAB users to discuss the modeling approach, software architecture, new directions, and real world, policy-relevant applications. Workshop participants will include leading academics, applied researchers, analysts, policymakers and government officials from around the world.
