Christopher Napoli, international political economist, joins the KAPSARC research team

Christopher Napoli, international political economist, has joined the KAPSARC Research team. Prior to joining KAPSARC, Christopher was Assistant Professor of Political Economy at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus. Previously, he worked as a researcher at the Brussels-based Centre for European Policy Studies. In both roles he researched collective action problems in global governance, focused primarily on the environment, trade policy, and global finance.

Christopher has published papers on the Kyoto Protocol, environmental border tax adjustments, bilateral trade, and development economics. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Canada, and a MA and PhD in International Relations from the University of Kent, UK.
