Dr. Leo Lester, a global energy market expert, has joined KAPSARC, where he will lead critical research into China’s energy demand and supply, and their worldwide impact.
Leo was formerly the Principal Macroeconomist at the BG Group, a top FTSE 100 multinational oil and gas company, where he led work on BG’s China markets model. Leo also worked in strategic planning where he focused on business plan optimization, portfolio management, capital rationing, and scenario analysis, as well as undertook projects relating to corporate finance and economic analysis in the UK, India, and Thailand.
Leo holds a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Reading, UK, and a BA (Hons) in Biological Sciences from Christ Church, University of Oxford.
