The King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) has been ranked 17th out of 60 top Energy and Resource Policy think tanks globally.
Moreover, KAPSARC has moved up from 48th overall in 2017 to 29th in 2018, putting it among the 103 top think tanks in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Global Go To Think Tank Index is compiled from an international survey of almost 2,000 scholars, public and private donors, policy makers and journalists who rank more than 6,500 think tanks using a set of 18 criteria developed by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) at the Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania.
