Under the patronage and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KAPSARC, KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) celebrated the graduation of 21 students from the inaugural cohort of its Master of Public Policy (MPP) Program, marking a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s public policy education landscape and in KSPP’s efforts to prepare the next generation of leaders and policymakers.
The graduation of the inaugural MPP cohort represents an important step in expanding specialized public policy education in Saudi Arabia and reflects KSPP’s commitment to equipping future leaders with the analytical, strategic, and leadership skills needed to address complex economic, social, and developmental challenges through evidence-based policymaking.
The ceremony reflects KSPP’s commitment to developing future leaders and strengthening national capabilities through world-class public policy education.On this occasion, Fahad Alajlan, President of KAPSARC and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KAPSARC School of Public Policy, said: “Graduation is not the culmination of your journey, but the beginning of a greater responsibility. The Master of Public Policy Program is one of KSPP’s flagship academic offerings and is designed to prepare leaders and professionals capable of contributing to the formulation, evaluation, and advancement of public policy. Combining academic rigor with practical application, the program integrates specialized coursework with applied projects that address real-world challenges across the public and private sectors.
Beyond its academic offerings, KSPP provides executive education programs that strengthen leadership capabilities and institutional performance across priority sectors, reflecting the school’s broader commitment to advancing public policy education and leadership development.
The ceremony also celebrated the competition of the second and third cohorts of KSPP’s executive education programs, including the Executive Program in Public Leadership and the Executive Program for Emerging Leaders. These programs contribute to developing leadership capabilities and strengthening institutional performance by equipping professionals with specialized expertise in public policy, leadership, and decision-making.
