About

Chetan Talwar is a Postdoctoral Researcher at KAPSARC, specializing in the evaluation of the air transport system (ATS). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from TU Braunschweig, Germany, where he explored low-emission transition pathways for air transport. He also holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, with a specialization in Public Policy. Chetan’s research focuses on assessing the adoption of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) emerging technologies, such as electric aircraft and hydrogen propulsion, within policy frameworks that support aviation decarbonization. His research is dedicated to identifying energy transition strategies using biofuels, e-fuels, green hydrogen, and renewable energy to achieve sustainable aviation goals.
