About
Sandrine Wachon is a Visiting Researcher in the Utilities and Renewables Program at KAPSARC, specializing in power sector reforms, regulation, and market design. She began her career at RTE, the French Transmission System Operator, where she managed international projects focused on power sector restructuring and regional cooperation. She later led international business development at EPEX SPOT, contributing to the expansion of the European power market. Her global advisory experience spans power sector policies and regulation, market design, power trading, financial clearing, and energy investments. Sandrine holds a Ph.D. in economics from La Sorbonne and lectures at the University of Corsica.
