Certification of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids increasingly requires auditable, asset-specific values rather than pathway defaults. Existing life cycle assessment (LCA) models do not consistently allocate upstream burdens at the process level. We document the Petroleum Emissions Estimation Tool (PEET), a process-level engineering model for product-specific carbon intensities. PEET represents an asset as a validated graph of unit operations and typed streams.
