As cities pursue ambitious climate goals, congestion pricing is gaining attention not only as a tool for managing traffic but also as a catalyst for transport electrification. By limiting conventional vehicle use, encouraging investment in charging infrastructure, and aligning with low-emission zone policies, congestion pricing may support broader energy transition goals. This study investigates global expert perceptions of its role in accelerating electrification and urban energy readiness.
