Saudi Arabia’s transition toward a diversified and knowledge-based economy creates a strategic window to position artificial intelligence (AI) as a driver of productivity, innovation, and high-quality employment. Using unique administrative data on Saudi workers, this study provides early insights into how AI-augmented occupations – that is, jobs that are both highly exposed to AI and complementary with it – could reshape labor market outcomes across sectors.
