Abstract

The aviation sector, known for its significant emission levels, is facing a critical moment, as it strives to balance growth with environmental concerns. With the aim of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, stakeholders such as consumers, investors, manufacturers, airports, airlines, and governments are closely working together. The substantial contribution of aviation to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, especially CO2 emissions, presents challenges across the short-, medium-, and long-term horizons. As a result, there is a growing focus on addressing the environmental impact of aviation and adopting sustainable practices.
