About

Thamir Al Shehri is a Fellow in the Climate and Sustainability Program at KAPSARC, specializing in data-driven tools for energy market scenarios and the KAPSARC Circular Carbon Economy Index. He advises the broader energy ecosystem in Saudi Arabia on clean energy transitions, sustainability, and carbon emissions management. Thamir is also a member of the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel at the United Nations Environment Programme. Previously, he worked as a lecturer in Australia and has contributed to award-winning projects, including the Burj Khalifa Building Management System.
