About

Aayushi Awasthy is an Economist specializing in energy transitions, climate policy, and sustainable development. With a Ph.D. from the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change at the University of East Anglia, she has worked extensively on electricity access, gender and energy, and decarbonization strategies. At KAPSARC, her research focuses on clean cooking access in Africa and sustainable cooling solutions for Saudi Arabia. She has held roles at the International Energy Agency and TERI, contributing to energy policy, modeling, and international climate negotiations. Her experience across India, the UK, France, and Saudi Arabia brings a global perspective to energy and climate issues.
