Mustafa is currently a senior analysis and planning consultant with Saudi Aramco and a research associate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change. Mustafa previously worked for MIT and the Arab Planning Institute.
A viable, least-cost pathway to a low greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions future must lie within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Paris Agreement. The rulebook for the Agreement was in many ways rewritten at the 2018 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP24) in Katowice, Poland. The flexible nature of the Agreement allows the international community to shift course as necessary.29th August 2019
