About

Evar Umeozor is a Senior Fellow in KAPSARC’s Oil and Gas Program, leading research on integrated oil value chains with a focus on downstream sector competitiveness. With expertise in process and energy systems engineering, he combines multidisciplinary research and industry experience to analyze the impact of technology and policy on downstream project sustainability. He applies systems thinking to optimal policy design, considering multiple stakeholder needs. Dr. Umeozor holds a master’s degree in advanced chemical engineering from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Calgary.
