She… Dongmei is a Research Fellow at KAPSARC with a focus on energy trade, energy investment and regional energy cooperation. She has more than 20 years of experience in China’s energy and climate change policy development. Before joining KAPSARC, she worked at the Institute for Industrial Productivity (IIP) as a senior advisor and head of the China office, developing and disseminating best practices to improve industrial energy productivity. Before working at IIP, she worked at WWF China as director of the Climate Change and Energy Program, leading the design and implementation of the Low Carbon City Initiative in partnership with local Chinese governments and international networks. Before working at the WWF, she worked at China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Water Conservation, and the Xinjiang Wind Energy Company.

His experience includes… Julio is an economist and civil engineer with over 20 years of experience in the energy field. His experience includes energy policy and data analysis for international organizations, governmental advisory services, and the construction of energy projects. Julio also has a passion for sustainable energy and project management, both supported by his postgraduate studies. Before joining KAPSARC, Julio worked as a senior energy consultant within different organizations. For over seven years, during his position as energy policy analyst at OPEC, he was one of the major contributors to the OPEC World Oil Outlook (WOO). His experience in both the governmental and private sectors, in the field and office, allows him to understand the dynamics of the energy sector.

Jitendra Roychoudhury is a research fellow in the Utilities and Renewables program. His ongoing research portfolio at KAPSARC covers various issues related to global and regional economic, energy and geopolitical, policy developments, and the impact of such policies on global energy markets. Before joining KAPSARC, Jitendra was Director and Chief Consultant at HDR Salva, India. He has worked extensively as a commodity consultant within India's energy and infrastructure sectors, advising on developing commodity market entry strategies. He has authored and contributed to numerous consulting studies related to coal and coal policy in India, Indonesia, and China. Jitendra has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune, India, and a post-graduate diploma in business management from Welingkar's Institute of Management, Mumbai.

Majed is a Research Fellow at KAPSARC with a focus on energy security, geopolitics, and hydrocarbon laws and regulations. He has more than 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the fields of simulation and modeling, asset management, reserves estimation, oil field development, disruptive technologies, and business planning, gained at Chevron and Saudi Aramco.

Majed holds a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa in the United States, along with two M.S. degrees in petroleum engineering, and reservoir geosciences and engineering, respectively, from Texas A&M University and the Institut Francais du Petrole (IFP School). In 2021, Majed earned his Master of Science degree in public economics and policy from Purdue University.
