Carlo Andrea Bollino is a Professor of Economics at the University of Perugia, Professor of Energy Economics at LUISS University, Rome and a Visiting Fellow in the Energy Macro and Microeconomics Program at KAPSARC. An expert in energy economics, he holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied under Nobel Laureate Lawrence Klein. He has served as President of the International Association for Energy Economics and has held senior roles in Italy’s energy sector, including at the Minister of Treasury, the Minister of Energy, ENI and GSE. His research focuses on consumer behavior, macroeconometric modeling, and energy policy, contributing extensively to global energy and environmental discourse.
